The IPAZIA Service Health Control Centre was mandated by Aglea Salus to provide support for:
- General information on the benefits of the Health Service;
- Information on how to access the affiliated facilities;
- Information on how to apply for reimbursement of expenses incurred;
- Information on the status of direct reimbursement claims.

How to get benefits

The benefits provided by this Health Service can be provided in three different ways:

1) Direct assistance
2) Indirect assistance
3) Mixed assistance



1) Direct assistance
With more than 4,353 centres and professionals throughout Italy, including 2,223 nursing homes, hospitals, diagnostic centres, ambulances, we can cover the entire national territory, offering our clients the possibility to access direct healthcare services provided by the affiliated structures that are part of the Ipazia Service S.r.l. health network.
These services provided “THROUGH THE NETWORK", subject to authorization by the Health Control Centre, provide for direct payment by Ipazia Service S.r.l. of the relevant service / hospitalization and, where provided for by the chosen health plan, the payment of only the franchise and / or uncovered fees charged to the Client.

2) Indirect assistance
Our Clients choosing to contact a healthcare facility that has no agreement with Ipazia Service S.r.l. will be entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred for services rendered by healthcare facilities freely chosen by them and not included in the Ipazia Service S.r.l. Healthcare Network within the limits established by their own Health Plan. (Access to the network without having previously informed the Control Centre).

3) Mixed assistance
This option is available when the Health Facility has an agreement with the Health Control Centre, but the medical team does not; the Operations Centre will proceed with the so-called "mixed payment", i.e. the criteria and methods provided for in point 1) above for services provided directly, and the methods provided for in point 2) above for services provided indirectly, will be applied.

Documentation to submit for reimbursement claims

The following documentation must always be attached to the application forms:
- Medical report confirming the condition (Disease);
- Copy of the report of the emergency room or other hospital facility certifying the accident occurred with indication of the date, place and manner of occurrence;
- Copy of the medical record and/or any other medical documentation, to this end relieving from professional secrecy the doctors who have visited and treated the member;
- Copy of the invoices relating to the expenses incurred, duly settled, as well as, for the reimbursement of expenses related to post-hospitalisation medications, medical prescription, itemised receipt.

All services are guaranteed in terms of quality and coverage by 4,353 centres and professionals throughout Italy, including:    
 - 2,223 nursing homes, hospitals, diagnostic centres, testing laboratories, ambulances, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, opticians, paramedics, etc.
